CandidCodes Reader Support
Help Center

Find the correct route for coupon problems, content corrections, store-review questions, merchant orders, policy inquiries, and partner communications.

Start here: CandidCodes can explain its published research, review a reported content error, and clarify how a coupon, deal, store review, or guide was presented. CandidCodes cannot access a merchant order, payment, account, shipment, refund, warranty claim, or subscription.

What CandidCodes can help with

Coupon and deal pages

Report a code that fails, an automatic deal that no longer appears, a price that changed, a wrong destination, or eligibility language that is unclear.

Store reviews

Ask which evidence supported a store statement, flag a policy change, or submit current primary documentation for correction review.

Buyer guides and comparisons

Report an inaccurate specification, plan feature, price calculation, comparison point, or material alternative that needs reassessment.

Publisher policies

Ask about affiliate disclosure, editorial independence, privacy, cookies, contact routes, or how CandidCodes handles corrections and updates.

Orders, payments, delivery, and refunds

CandidCodes is an independent editorial publisher and affiliate-supported information site. It does not operate the checkout of the stores it covers and cannot see a reader's private order record.

Contact the merchant

Use the store's official support channel for payment, order confirmation, delivery, cancellation, refund, return, warranty, damaged-item, account, or subscription issues.

Contact CandidCodes

Report a broken destination, misleading published instruction, outdated merchant policy summary, missing disclosure, or factual error on a CandidCodes page.

Protect private data

Do not email CandidCodes passwords, one-time codes, complete payment-card numbers, identity documents, or full private order histories. Redact unnecessary personal information from screenshots.

A coupon code did not work

A failed code is useful evidence, but it does not always mean the code is universally expired. Coupon eligibility can depend on the market, product, cart value, account state, customer type, app or website, payment method, quantity, date, and whether another offer is already active.

  1. Confirm the destination: check that the domain is the intended official merchant or service.
  2. Copy the code exactly: remove accidental spaces and confirm similar characters were not confused.
  3. Read the conditions: check country, product, plan, minimum spend, new-customer, account, and stacking restrictions.
  4. Inspect the cart: note the exact items, currency, subtotal, automatic sale, and message shown after applying the code.
  5. Report the result: send the CandidCodes page, merchant page, code, time, market, cart conditions, and a redacted screenshot if available.

How to read a CandidCodes store review

A store review is a time-specific editorial assessment, not a certification or guarantee. It considers the seller information, offer clarity, policies, and available buyer route. A store can change after publication, and individual order outcomes can differ.

Verified information

A claim should identify the current source or direct observation that supports it.

Merchant-stated terms

Shipping, return, warranty, support, product, and promotion statements may be reported from official pages without implying that CandidCodes completed every transaction.

Limitations

Regional access, account requirements, unavailable checkout stages, or missing documentation should be stated when they affect confidence.

Editorial judgment

The conclusion should explain who the option suits, material trade-offs, and what readers should recheck before paying.

See Our Store Review Methodology.

Report an error or request a correction

CandidCodes welcomes specific, evidence-backed corrections from readers, merchants, brands, and affiliate networks. A correction request does not guarantee removal or a preferred conclusion; it starts an editorial review.

  • Include the exact CandidCodes URL and quote or describe the statement at issue.
  • Explain what is inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or misleading.
  • Provide a current primary source, dated checkout evidence, or official policy page.
  • State the market, date, product, plan, or account condition if it changes the result.
  • Separate a factual correction from a request to remove supported criticism or commercial inconvenience.

The update process is explained in How We Keep Reviews Updated.

For merchants, brands, and affiliate networks

Commercial partners may send current program terms, approved landing pages, eligible markets, product or plan changes, policy documentation, and evidence supporting a factual correction. CandidCodes may use that information as a source but retains editorial control.

Partnership access does not guarantee coverage, placement, a positive score, removal of limitations, or acceptance of unsupported marketing language. Read the Disclosure Policy and Editorial Policy before contacting CandidCodes about a listing or correction.

Frequently asked questions

Is CandidCodes the seller?

No. A purchase, subscription, return, refund, or support relationship is between the reader and the external merchant.

Why did the price change?

Merchant prices, taxes, currencies, inventory, promotions, and personalized or regional conditions can change. Check the current product page and final checkout before paying.

Can CandidCodes guarantee a store is legitimate?

No review can guarantee every future transaction. CandidCodes explains available evidence, policy clarity, limitations, and checks readers can repeat.

Can I ask for my merchant listing to be removed?

You may request a review and provide evidence. CandidCodes decides whether correction, clarification, update, archival, or no change is editorially supported.

What language should I use?

Use clear English where possible and include links, dates, and concise evidence. CandidCodes may need clarification if machine translation changes a policy or offer condition.
