The short version: CandidCodes may earn compensation when a reader deliberately follows an eligible affiliate link and completes a qualifying action. Compensation supports research, publishing, offer checks, and updates. It does not make a code valid, guarantee savings, increase an editorial score, or give a merchant control over a conclusion.
How affiliate support works
CandidCodes is an independent editorial publisher. Some links to merchants, software providers, or affiliate networks can contain a publisher or campaign identifier. If a reader chooses that link and later completes an action that qualifies under the program's current terms, the merchant or network may attribute the action to CandidCodes and may pay a commission.
The merchant or network decides which products, plans, markets, customers, transaction types, attribution periods, and actions qualify. A click does not guarantee a commission, and CandidCodes cannot confirm that an external tracking system recorded an action.
Reader action
The reader decides whether to open a merchant link, use a code, create an account, or make a purchase. CandidCodes does not use forced clicks or claim that following a link is required to read ordinary editorial content.
External attribution
A merchant or network may recognize an eligible referral through a click identifier, cookie, or similar method. Its own privacy, cookie, account, and checkout terms apply after the reader leaves CandidCodes.
Possible compensation
Payment may be based on a qualifying purchase, subscription, lead, or other approved action. The commercial result is separate from the evidence used in the article or review.
What an affiliate relationship does - and does not - mean
It is not automatic endorsement

It does not control merchant pricing

Editorial evidence remains separate
CandidCodes evaluates claims using the strongest evidence reasonably available for the question being answered. A live checkout observation can support code eligibility or price calculation; official merchant terms can support shipping or return conditions; product documentation can support specifications; and direct use can support only the features actually observed.
Merchant-provided information
Brands and networks may supply program terms, approved landing pages, eligible markets, price or policy updates, and correction evidence. That information can improve factual accuracy but is not accepted without context or treated as editorial approval.
Sponsored or paid placement
If CandidCodes publishes content for a fixed payment or another benefit not tied only to an eligible referral, that relationship should be identified as sponsored, paid, or otherwise commercially supported as appropriate.
Products or access supplied
If a product, account, trial, or other access is provided without charge for evaluation, that material fact should be disclosed where it could affect how a reader interprets the coverage.
Unsupported claims

What readers should verify before acting
A code, deal, sale price, software plan, or merchant policy can change after publication. Before paying, readers should verify the destination domain, eligible market, exact product or plan, discount calculation, exclusions, renewal terms, shipping, returns, and final checkout total.
